According to the statistics from China Customs, the total export value of China's lighting industry in 2022 was $62.7 billion (RMB 440 billion), with lamps and related products accounting for $46.4 billion, or 74% of the total. The export value of electric light sources and their accessories was $9.08 billion, accounting for 14.5%, while other lighting-related products such as ballasts and electrical lighting devices for motor vehicles accounted for $7.22 billion, or 11.5%. Among them, exports to Europe amounted to approximately $12 billion, accounting for about 26% of the total export value of lamps and related products.

Lighting Europe: European lighting culture prefers low color temperature and high color rendering index (warm white), which also explains why incandescent lamps are popular in the European and American markets. Lighting systems, better light quality, people-oriented approach, and sustainable development are driving forces behind the growth of the European lighting market.
